Petrol Bags DSLR Backpack
Petrol Bags traditionally caters for video camera users, but with so many people now using DSLRs to record video footage, the company has announced some new bags to cater for the growing market. Although a video-enabled DLSR body is no different in shape to a regular DSLR, video users will appreciate that many accessories, such as light panels, clip-on LCD screens and external microphones, do not fit easily in most of the photography bags that are currently available. The internal makeup of the Digiback is therefore designed primarily with video users in mind, with the lower section ideal for larger accessories.
At 550x360x250 mm. the Digiback is a large bag and feels well built. There is ample mesh padding on the back of the bag and shoulder straps, which makes a full load comfortable to carry An internal frame along the back of the bag helps give a rigid and protective structure The top section is able to hold a professional DLSR with lens attached and up to four extra smaller lenses. By removing the base divider of this section, a larger telephoto lens can be attached to the camera. A Velcro pouch to store memory cards and a rain cover is included.
The new Digiback DSLR Backpack sports a smart, ergonomic shell design and is packed with features designed to offer the ultimate in practicality, convenience, and equipment protection. The top lid of the Digiback reveal an upper compartment contoured to fit a DSLR camera with the lens attached. When outfitted with a telephoto or other extra long lens, the camera can be inserted with the lens in a vertical position. The spacious lower chamber has ample room for important accessories. Removable internal dividers help secure contents and create pockets perfect for holding a mattebox, camera plate, follow focus, extra lenses, minilight, spare batteries, viewfinder and more.
